What is a body count?

  • March 16, 2022

Where is sex before marriage becoming a lot more normalised a large number of people have created the term body count. The term body count is used to describe the number of people you’ve had sex with. It is often confused with the term of the number of people you’ve killed. Before it was used sexually the term was used by Gang members were still is used by them.

There has been a lot of body count when it comes to women and men. There is a suitable amount for women and a suitable amount for men. A lot of the time people have said they would not date people with a body count over two. It all comes down to preference.

Should you discuss body count with your partner?

In my opinion, discussing body counts with your partner is irrelevant. If your partner feels as though talking about body count on knowing your body count before you get in a relationship is a must then it’s up to you to decide whether you’re comfortable. Not everyone needs to know the number of people you’ve had sex with. Otherwise, every single person you are about to date would have to know.

It is most important to tell your partner about your sexual past if it might concern them or affect them in any way. This would help best if either of you might have any STDs. If both of you are clean then there is no need to exchange sexual history.

It is a personal preference as to what kind of person you want to be with. Whether it’s a girl with no body count or a guy with only a limit of 10. If you are not comfortable with sharing your sexual history you do not have to. There are some couples that have shown over the years that they only share body cancer depending on how serious the relationship has gotten. Normally it isn’t a matter of body count but it is a matter of sharing exes.

Is there a body count too high?

No, there is no such thing as a high body count. Of course, every person is different and how you view body count is based on your own perception and how you feel about people’s body counts as your own projection. As long as safe sex is practised and if you have been infected over the years that’s something that may affect the next person to be open with them. Of course, each person is different, some people might not have an issue with it and others might not be able to see past it. Giving them the option to decide is the important part.

Final Thoughts on Body Count

Body count is a very sensitive topic for everyone. Some people prefer to share it and talk about it. Some people would much rather not for they feel it is a private matter. If you feel you need to know somebody’s body count before entering your relationship then you might be entering a relationship for all the wrong reasons. Sexual history has nothing to do with the person’s personality or I’m loving them. But whatever makes you feel most comfortable is what you should stick to.
