Stop Chasing Your Romantic Partners

Often times people think that chasing their romantic partner will influence their partner in being interested in them. Unfortunately, this just does the opposite. You know what they say when you’re chasing something that means it’s running away from you same goes for love. When someone is being chased they sort of feel as though there is some repellent coming from you. So even if they wanted to get to know you wanted to be with you your level of desperation only pushes them further away. A good example is that of a puppy; when you chase a puppy it runs but if you stay still it will come to you.

How do your romantic partners feel being chased?

Just let anyone else you want to be with someone who feels worthy and deserving of you or the love you have to give. When you feel yourself being chased you know that this person will be willing to do anything you want them to do, which does not create a real healthy foundation for a relationship. You want it to be free and easy flowing so when someone is chasing you the first thing you’re thinking is why?

When doing the chasing, it should be like a compliment and show your level of loyalty but it isn’t all that simple. The other person only shows a level of desperation and no one wants to settle down with someone that’s desperate to have them. It’s different from actually just putting in the work to be with them before the relationship stuff and actually chasing the person.

Most people especially women feel as though when you’re chasing them you’re chasing an idea of them but not them as a person which tends to throw people off. This only makes your romantic partner feel as though they have nothing to offer other than looks and a good feeling for you.

Reasons you shouldn’t chase your romantic partners

A few common reasons one of the main reasons you shouldn’t be chasing a romantic partner is that it also does not make you feel good about yourself. You become so accustomed to chasing the people you want that even if the person is right in front of you you would still feel the need to chase them, showing low self-confidence. The worst feeling a person could have is the feeling of inadequacy and that is what chasing feels like.

It’s important to stop chasing your romantic partners because others will take advantage of your need to chase by making you always go the extra mile. Some realise this feeling of inadequacy and take advantage of it. They will make you do all sorts of things for them and by the time they leave you high and dry, you can not believe what you’ve done for them. This only produces trust issues in relationships for any future relationships.

The most important thing to remember about romantic partners

The biggest thing you have to keep in mind when it comes to relationships is that you would not have to chase someone that wants to be with you. This is very different from the puppy example because your puppy does love you and your puppy wants to play with you and it knows that you were home but a human deciphers a lot more information. There are a lot more illogical and smarter than dogs and they know that they can either come to you or keeps running. No one deserves a start of a relationship or just a relationship where they continue chasing and striving to be with someone. Finding your partner or life partner does not consist of them running from you. This is why you should stop chasing your romantic partners.
